Care of the board:  Hand wash gently in warm soapy water, rinse and wipe dry. Do not soak in water; soaking can cause the board to warp.  Do not place in dishwasher; the excessive heat and harsh chemicals of the dish detergent can cause the wood to dry out, warp, and/or crack. Treat periodically with a food-safe mineral oil.
